Mumbai's monsoon, high humidity and heavy pedestrian traffic can make smooth tile and stone floors difficult to manage when water is tracked indoors. Oxon Technology provides professional floor assessment and anti-slip treatment for selected compatible surfaces across Mumbai and the wider MMR.

Where floor assessment is useful

Moisture-prone entrances, washrooms, balconies, kitchens, pool surroundings and other hard-floor areas may benefit from a professional review. Suitability depends on the substrate, existing finish, previous sealers or coatings, contamination and cleaning routine.

  • Apartment bathrooms, balconies and common areas
  • Hotel entrances, bathrooms, kitchens and pool surroundings
  • Hospital and clinic washrooms and selected circulation areas
  • Office receptions, cafeterias and managed common areas
  • Restaurants and other moisture-prone service spaces

How Oxon's process works

  1. Initial information: share the floor material, approximate area, location, wet or contaminated conditions and photographs.
  2. Suitability review: the substrate, finish, condition and previous treatments are reviewed. A sample area may be recommended.
  3. Controlled application: preparation, dwell time and rinsing are planned for the selected surface and operating conditions.
  4. Aftercare: cleaning and maintenance guidance is provided for the treated floor.

Compatible surfaces require confirmation

Selected ceramic, porcelain, terrazzo and natural-stone floors may be suitable, but no product should be assumed compatible with every tile, polish, sealer or coating. A small inconspicuous test and site-specific recommendation help reduce the risk of an unacceptable finish or result.

Floor safety is more than one treatment

Anti-slip treatment may improve traction on a compatible floor, but no floor can be guaranteed slip-proof in every condition. Effective drainage, prompt spill control, suitable footwear, cleaning procedures, warning systems and maintenance remain important, particularly during the Mumbai monsoon.

Service area

Project enquiries are considered across Mumbai and the MMR, including Andheri, Bandra, Powai, Worli, Navi Mumbai and Thane. Availability, assessment requirements and scheduling vary by project.

Frequently asked questions

Will treatment change the floor appearance?

The process is intended to preserve the existing appearance on compatible surfaces, but results can vary. A sample area should be assessed before full application.

Can every marble or vitrified floor be treated?

No universal compatibility claim should be made. The material, finish, condition and previous treatments must be reviewed.

How is pricing calculated?

Pricing depends on area, surface, preparation, access, operating constraints and whether professional testing is required.

Does treatment replace cleaning and monsoon controls?

No. Cleaning, drainage, contaminant control, signage and operating procedures remain essential parts of floor safety.
