Coverage and service life can vary with substrate, porosity, preparation, application quality, traffic, contamination, cleaning and maintenance. These figures should not be treated as a universal guarantee.
How to apply Oxon Sure Grip
- Clean the floor with a brush and remove dirt, grease and grime.
- Dry the floor with a mop or cloth before application.
- Transfer the product to a plastic container. Do not pour it directly onto the floor.
- Wear protective gloves and avoid direct skin contact.
- Apply evenly with a suitable brush, roller or sponge. Do not allow the product to dry.
- Keep the application area wet with product for 12 minutes.
- Wash and brush the floor thoroughly, making sure all product is removed.
- Avoid maintenance products that form a coating over the treated floor.
Check compatibility before full application
Do not assume that one treatment is suitable for every tile, stone, sealer or finish. Identify previous waxes, coatings and treatments, then complete a small inconspicuous test area. Stop if the test produces an unacceptable appearance or surface change.

What treatment can and cannot do
Anti-slip treatment may improve traction on a compatible floor, but no floor can be guaranteed slip-proof in every condition. Drainage, cleaning, contaminant control, suitable footwear, warning procedures and maintenance remain important.
About test evidence
The historical independent report currently supplied to Oxon identifies and tests a SafeGrip sample, not a Sure Grip sample. Its results are therefore not presented as direct proof of Sure Grip performance. A current, formulation-specific independent report should be used for any numerical Sure Grip performance claim.
