The proof of any anti-slip treatment lies in measurable results. At Oxon Technology, we document every project with professional pendulum slip resistance testing before and after treatment. This guide shares typical before-and-after results from real projects across India.

How We Measure Results: The Pendulum Test

Every Oxon Technology project is documented with pendulum slip resistance testing (BS EN 13036-4). The pendulum tester measures the Pendulum Test Value (PTV) — the lower the number, the more slippery the surface. A PTV below 25 indicates high risk. A PTV of 36 or above indicates low risk.

Typical Before Results: What We Find

Polished marble (untreated): PTV 12-18 — extremely high risk. Glazed ceramic tile (untreated): PTV 14-20 — very high risk. Polished vitrified tile (untreated): PTV 10-16 — extremely high risk. Kota stone (polished, untreated): PTV 18-25 — high risk.

Typical After Results: What We Achieve

After Oxon Sure Grip anti-slip treatment, typical results are: Marble: PTV 45-65 (from high risk to low risk). Glazed ceramic: PTV 50-70 (from high risk to low risk). Vitrified tile: PTV 48-68 (from extremely high risk to low risk). Kota stone: PTV 42-58 (from high risk to low risk).

Real Project Examples

Hotel lobby (marble, Mumbai): Before PTV 14 → After PTV 56. Hospital corridor (vitrified tile, Bangalore): Before PTV 18 → After PTV 62. Residential bathroom (ceramic, Delhi): Before PTV 16 → After PTV 54. Swimming pool deck (ceramic, Chennai): Before PTV 12 → After PTV 68.

We Provide Documentation

Every Oxon Technology client receives a written treatment report documenting the surfaces treated, treatment applied, and before/after PTV values. This documentation is valuable for insurance purposes, regulatory compliance, and demonstrating due diligence.
